Ron is originally from Louisville Kentucky but has lived in Virginia for 22 years.  Ron and his wife Karen have been married for 41 years.  Karen works in Information Technology at Thomas Nelson Community College and Ron works as an Engineering Systems Specialist for Canon Virginia.  They have two wonderful children and two fabulous grandchildren.  Their son Jason works in retail management and their daughter Shannon is a teacher and is married to Allen Denton who also is a teacher. 

Ron is a “tell it like it is” kind of guy.  His favorite Bible verse is 1 John 5:13.  He truly enjoys serving God.  He is motivated by God’s word and serves as Elder of our church because God has charged Christian men to lead.  He works with less mature Christian men to create a desire in them to serve the Lord as an Elder or Deacon of the church.  He would like to see our church reaching out to the lost in all communities.

Ron can be found occasionally honing his marksmen skills by shooting clay pigeons.  He also enjoys motorcycles and has an interest in Jeeps.
