Lee Affholter was born in Southern California.  He joined the USAF at 19 and retired after 21 years of service.  He has lived in Mississippi, Texas, Ohio and Germany.  He moved to Hampton in November of 1992 where he resides today.  He found his “Gift from God”, wife Cindy while attending Christ Church of the Peninsula.  They have been married 9 years and have 5 children, 6 granddaughters and 1 grandson.  He currently works for Thomas Nelson Community College as a Safety Compliance Officer.
 

Lee enjoys spending time with his wife, target shooting and playing games on-line.

Lee can be found serving communion and helping with building security.  In June of 2009 Lee was selected to be an Elder by the Church Board.  He would like to see all members discover and use the gift(s) that God gave them for the good of God’s Kingdom.  His favorite Bible verse is “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”  Philippians 4:13
